Dinners
for Six
Dinners
for Six provides opportunities for members—including singles, couples
or small families—to
become better acquainted through potluck dinners, restaurant outings,
a weekend brunch or lunch or other activities of the group’s choice. Get-togethers
take place over a four-month period.
Fellowship
Groups
Recreation
Fellowship Group meets the 3rd Saturday of every month in the church
parking lot at 8:45 am (so that we can leave by carpool at 9 am) for an
EASY snowshoe/hike on a local trail (probably Jeffco Open Space). We'll
plan on being on the trail for about two hours so bring snacks, water
and clothes for any change in weather. We look forward to making new church
friends as we share our love for the outdoors and take good care of the
bodies God gave us. We expect to have beginners so please feel comfortable
joining us even if you can't remember the last time you walked more than
across the mall parking lot! ALL ages are welcome! Pete and Susanne Spandau
planned the first outing so feel free to call them (303-432-2447) with
any questions.
Please
join us on May 17 for a hike on a local trail...probably a Jeffco Open
Space park or a state park with eagle nest or rushing river viewing opportunities.
Since January we've had lovely days outside on the third Saturday of each
month. How good it feels to fellowship together as we are exercising and
enjoying the beauty of God's creation. Please meet us in the church parking
lot at 8:45am so we can leave by carpool at 9:00am. Bring plenty of water,
snacks and appropriate clothes for a change in weather. Pete and Susanne
Spandau can answer any questions you might have. They can be reached at
303-432-2447 or spspandau@msn.com
